Misbah Najmi is a name not new to the people related to the architecture, engineering and building construction industry of Pakistan. This name personified successful architecture in the 50′s. His practice in Pakistan stretches over a period of more than 20 years, since his return from the U.S. when he started Misbah Najmi and Associates.

He has projects of all scales and types attached to the list of his achievements from houses, in almost all the areas of Karachi as well as other parts of Pakistan, to mosques like Masjid-e-Faran. His architecture has a certain look that makes it belong to this particular part of the world, devoid of the fact that he had received his architecture education from abroad and has practiced architecture for more than 10 years in the United States. His contribution to the architectural field is not just through his architecture but through contributions to the community by holding key positions in architecture councils like IAP and PCATP where he made a great contribution in the recognition of the profession and the professionals.
