The store eschews conventional boundaries, replacing walls and glass with wooden shutters that serve as elegant partitions. These shutters frame the space, offering subtle divisions while maintaining visibility and accessibility. The ceiling adds another layer of depth with exposed structures softened by draped fabric. This fabric diffuses light, creating a gentle glow that illuminates the space without overwhelming its natural tones.

The interplay of materials is a defining feature of Koel’s design. Dark wood accents in the door shutters, display racks, and clothing cases serve as a rich contrast to the light natural finishes of the walls, flooring, and furniture. This balance between light and dark creates a visual rhythm, enhancing the store’s modern yet grounded aesthetic.
